Prof. Pasha L.Hsieh delivered a lecture in SCSI

An Academic lecture on“The development and diplomatic influence of international law during the period of the republic of China”sponsored and organized by the Xiamen University South China Sea Institute (XMU-SCSI) and Xiamen University Center for Ocean law and the Chinese South and East Seas was held successfully at Xiamen University School of Law on 27 September2013.The speaker Pasha L. Hsieh, Ph.D. from University of Pennsylvania School of Law, assistant professor of Management University School of Law (SMU) and deputy secretary general of Chinese Society of International Law, introduced the development of international law during the period of the Republic of China, expounded the diplomatic influence of International Law by analyzing China's diplomatic transformation from the republic to reform and opening up and forecasted the development and diplomatic influence of international law.

Famous scholar Prof. Chen Chunyi, director of the National Chengchi University of Taiwan, answered the questions raised by audience and created a good atmosphere in the lecture.

Prof. Kuen-chen Fu, Dean of the Xiamen University South China Sea Institute, concluded the lecture and was greatly appreciated for the arrangements of the lecture.
