Professor Kuen-chen Fu awarded an honorary doctorate

Professor Kuen-chen Fu, dean of the South China Sea Institute, received an honorary doctorate from the Far Eastern Federal University for his eminent academic success on 1 November 2013 at Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia.

Prof. Vladimir I. Kurilov, vice-president of the FEFU, at the commencement ceremony hailed Prof. Fu as a world famous expert in maritime laws, who commands profound knowledge, is an outstanding academician and having a magnetic personality. In the preceding months, Prof. Kuen-chen Fu had delivered lectures on British and American contract law and marine law in the Far Eastern Federal University.
