Conclusion of the Symposium on International Fishery Cooperation

Symposium on International Fishery Cooperation was held successfully by the South China Sea Institute of Xiamen University on 9 November 2013. The Symposium was attended by nearly 40 professors and scholars from Mainland, Taiwan and Korea. The experts brainstormed on means and measures for Strengthening the International Cooperation and Joint Promotion of Conservation and Exploitation of Fishery Resources and Promoting the Settlement of Fishery Disputes through International Cooperation.

The experts who took part in the symposium were impressed by the general direction of the discourse and in-depth connotated discussion held on various aspects of fisheries cooperation. The organizer, the South China Sea Institute, was greatly appreciated for the structuring and arrangements of the symposium..
