Prof. Kuen-chen Fu: Establishing a Fair and Reasonable Global Oceanic Order

Today marked the 30thanniversary ofthe opening signature to theUnited Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.On 17th October 2013, journalist KANG Mingle of China Ocean News, the organization which manages the Oceanic Administration of China, interviewed Prof. Kuen-chen Fu, director of the South China Sea Institute of Xiamen University. In the interview Prof. Kuen-chen Fu discussed his views regarding the significance of the convention, and the positive and negative effects it has had on the global oceanic order.
