Prof. Kuen-chen Fu­ Invited to Attend the 4th Forum on Cross-Strait International Law

Prof. Kuen-chen Fu­, director of the South China Sea Institute of Xiamen University, was invited to attend the 4thForum on Cross-Strait International Law. The forum, which took place at Tsinghua University on January 19-20, looked to promote cross-strait academic dialogues on international law. The issues of this forum included: recent developments in international law, the DiaoyuIsland dispute, the South China Sea disputes, and education and research in international law.

The South China Sea Institute of Xiamen University, as an international academic institute researching issues on concerning the South China Sea, has an important role to play in this area. In attending this forum, SCSI works toward its mission of creating consensus between cross-strait researchers and putting forward new proposals to resolve issues in the South China Sea.
